Autumn Couch to 5k and 5k -10K training starts Thursday, August 23rd @ 7pm

(1) Corks Sports Partnership and Donoughmore AC Couch 2 5k Programme
The couch to 5K programme is an 8 week programme that is looking to encourage and motivate people to take them from the ‘Couch’ to a 5k in 8 weeks. The programme will cater for people that are new or beginners to jogging or running and is also open to those that are currently walking but perhaps would like to build up to jogging/running. If you are looking to get fit and healthy in a fun and supported way then this is for you! 

Starts:
  • Thursday August 23rd; 7.00pm; Stuake

  • 8 sessions with a qualified coach 
  • Entry into the (5k) Rebel Run (21st October 2018)

Cost:

  • €50 - includes entry to the Rebel Run

(2) Training program for Rebel Run 10K also starts on Thursday August 23rd
This training program is aimed at those who are currently completing 5K's and want to make the step up to 10K.
It will also be of benefit to anyone already running 10K races or more as the training is targeted to improve strength, stamina and cardio fitness over the 8 week course.

REGULAR TRAINING

Senior sessions continue, so come along and join us for a few miles. 
  • Monday-Thursday 7.00pm at Stuake – 4/5 miles on the road. This is for all levels; joggers, fun runners, serious runners are all welcome. Or why not try running a few laps around the pitch to get you started, we will be happy to join you.
  • Sunday morning 8am - 10 miles, great training for 10K's or half marathon. 
Fit4Life Sessions - We are currently looking for volunteer walkers & joggers to host Fit4Life. If you are interested in helping out please contact us.
